(Formerly Chrysanthemum parthenium) Feverfew forms a low bushy mound of fragrant green leaves, and is included in both the flower and herb garden. Leaves have been used quite widely in recent years in a wide range of natural remedies, particularly for treating migraine headaches. This selection bears double golden-yellow pompon flowers beginning in mid summer, the effect is like little yellow buttons. A short-lived perennial, this will self-sow about. Excellent as a cut flower. Plants may be pruned back hard to rejuvenate the leaves after blooming.
