Knautia macedonica

Crimson Scabious

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.299.100

A seldom-encountered species, forming a bushy clump of grey-green foliage at the base. Upright stems bear loads of small crimson-red pincushion flowers throughout the summer and into autumn, one of the few red-flowering perennials to bloom for the whole season.
