Heuchera ‘Pinot Noir’

Fancy-leaf Coral Bells

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.266.280

As a group, the Hybrid Coral Bells offer the gardener a tremendous new range of foliage colours, especially for shady areas. This French hybrid forms a mound of exotic, black-purple leaves overlaid with silver. Taller sprays of ivory bell flowers appear in summer. Sturdy in habit, nice for borders, edging, containers or around shrubs in sun or shade. Foliage should not be trimmed back in the fall, but plants may be tidied up in spring by removing any withered or tired-looking leaves. Evergreen. Developed in France by plant breeder Thierry Delabroye, using Heuchera villosa in his breeding lines. USPP#20434: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
