Astilbe × arendsii ‘Cappuccino’

Garden Astilbe

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.089.010

Garden Astilbe are a popular choice for shady gardens, where they perform well if given a rich, moist soil and regular watering. This selection has large, white plumes held over a mound of lacy, black–bronze leaves. After flowering, the foliage takes on hints of green but retains a rich tone. Also thrives in tubs, or mixed containers. Fertilize in April and June. Excellent for cutting. Seed heads may be removed, or left on the plant for winter interest. Plants should be divided every 2 to 3 years, in early spring. Will tolerate full sun, in cool summer regions. USPP#24940: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
