Gaura lindheimeri Pink Panache™

Butterfly Gaura

USDA Zone: 6-9

Plant number: 1.224.260

(=‘Bagau’) This extremely compact selection has both attractive foliage and flowers. It forms an upright, bushy mound of attractive variegated bright green and creamy-yellow leaves that often take on a rosy tint in cooler weather. Wands of small bright pink blooms with the occasional white hightlight appear on dark red stems May through hard frost. Excellent in containers or along the front of a sunny border. Needs good drainage. Note that botanists have recently reclassified and named this species Oenothera lindheimeri. Here at Heritage Perennials, we'll continue to list it under it’s more commonly familiar Latin name for now. USPPP: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
