Heuchera ‘Midnight Ruffles’

Fancy-leaf Coral Bells

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.266.930

As a group, the Hybrid Coral Bells offer the gardener a tremendous new range of foliage colours. This selection is from the Ruffles™ Series from Terra Nova Nurseries, Inc. and forms a mound of large, heavily-ruffled, brown-red to almost black shiny leaves with purple backs. Sprays of light brown flowers in spring. Vigorous with improved heat tolerance. In warm regions this is best in part to full shade although it was bred to have more heat tolerance. Excellent in the border, for edging, or in tubs and mixed containers. Foliage should not be trimmed back in the fall, but plants may be tidied up in spring by removing any withered or tired-looking leaves. Evergreen. USPP#25605: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
