Hemerocallis ‘Diva′s Choice’

Daylily

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.259.140

Modern Daylilies are the product of many years of breeding work, resulting in freely blooming plants of the easiest garden culture. They form dense clumps of grassy foliage, with upright stems of trumpet flowers. This selection is very floriferous and features vibrant, bubblegum-pink flowers with a yellow-green throat and deeply ruffled yellow margin. Repeat blooming. It will begin flowering with the first warm weather of summer and continue to flower heavily for several weeks, then rest during the strongest summer heat (intermittent blooms may still appear) before offering another big show in late summer and early fall. Plants do not usually require dividing for several years, but are easily split apart in fall or early spring. Spent flower stems can be trimmed back after flowers are finished. Remove old foliage in late fall. Flowers are edible.
