This species of Hellebore is the most well known. Plants forms a sturdy clump of leathery, evergreen leaves. Large cup-shaped white or soft-pink flushed flowers appear between Christmas and Easter, depending on the climate. Somewhat slow to establish, but worth the wait! A real gem in the garden, and not as difficult to grow as many imagine. Will self sow where happy, and the seedlings can be moved to new locations while still small. All Hellebores resent being disturbed, so avoid moving or dividing mature plants if at all possible. USPPP: unlicensed propagation prohibited. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten/Skin irritant.
