Blanket Flowers are one of the longest-blooming perennials, well suited to hot sunny sites. The Sunburst™ series are midsized in habit, ideal for containers or near the front of a sunny border. his flashy selection has soft-yellow daisy petals with a scarlet eye, surrounding a deep burgundy-red button centre. Removing faded flowers will greatly extend the blooming season. Clumps should be divided in early spring every 2 to 3 years. Plants will not tolerate wet, heavy clay soil, particularly in the winter. Flowers are attractive to butterflies, and also excellent for cutting. This series was bred and introduced by S&G Flowers.
