Echinacea Hot Summer®

Hybrid Coneflower

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.650.440

A hybrid Coneflower, featuring single flowers with narrow petals surrounding an orange-brown cone. What’s amazing about this selection is the flowers bloom yellow, turn orange and then a vibrant red, all within a few days, offering a range of colour at any one time on the same plant. Plant habit is well-branched, strong and bushy. Ideal for sunny borders, massing and growing in mixed containers. Attractive to butterflies. Excellent for cutting. Coneflowers begin blooming in midsummer and continue for months if faded flowers are regularly removed. However leaving some spent blooms on the plants in the fall provides food for wintering birds. USPP#20687: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
