(=‘HILREAL’) The Sunflor® pot carnations can be used both indoors and outdoors, will flower from spring until late autumn, and are completely hardy. Plants form a neat compact mound of grassy foliage smothered with fully double flowers. This selection features bright red flowers on short sturdy stems held above attractive, compact, grey-green foliage. Added bonus of a wonderful spicy-clove fragrance. Excellent for containers, rock gardens and borders. Drought tolerant and easy to grow. Prefers well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Good drainage is essential for winter hardiness. Evergreen. Bred in The Netherlands. USPP#22408: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
