This hybrid is a long-season bloomer, the perfect size for edging or in the rock garden. If forms a compact clump of fresh green leaves, bearing trailing stems with deep coral-pink flowers, the petal edges delicately fringed. Blooms are fragrant and attractive to butterflies. Nice for cutting. Tolerates summer heat and humidity. This is a sterile form, which is why blooming continues for most of the season. A hybrid of Silene regia, which is native to the Southeastern USA. Also known as Catchfly. Possibly hardy to Zone 4 or below.
