Lupinus Woodfield Hybrids

Woodfield Hybrid Lupine

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.330.530

The tall spires of Lupines are an unforgettable sight in the early summer border. Plants grow best in a deep, rich soil, slightly on the acidic side. This superior British strain produces flowers in nearly every shade of the rainbow, often with lovely bicolored blooms. As these are short-lived perennials, allow some plants to set seed. Reported to have improved resistance to the fungal problems that often kill tiny Lupine seedlings before they have a chance to grow. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten.
