Heuchera ‘Purple Petticoats’

Fancy-leaf Coral Bells

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.266.030

The deeply ruffled foliage of this selection adds a distinctive and interesting texture along the edge of a border or in a container. Leaves are rich deep purple year round, especially attractive during the winter months. Taller sprays of ivory flowers appear in late spring but these can be removed if desired. May need protection from afternoon sun in regions with hot and humid summers. If plants become leggy or woody at the base, just lift them in early autumn and replant with the crowns placed lower down in the soil. An older but still excellent Terra Nova Nurseries introduction. Former Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit winner. Registered with COPF.
