Heuchera ‘Midnight Rose’

Fancy-leaf Coral Bells

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.266.040

This hybrid Coral Bells selection is a terrific choice for adding a touch of colour towards the front of a border. The lobed leaves are nearly black in spring, heavily spotted in hot pink. Leaf colour fades a bit in summer, with cream and pink spots. Sprays of fairly insignificant white flowers appear in late spring. This unique leaf colours can make for some very unusual garden pairings, particularly in mixed containers. Reported to handle full sun in cool summer regions, otherwise provide with afternoon shade to prevent scorching. Remove any winter-burned leaves in the spring, otherwise no pruning is required. A Terra Nova Nurseries introduction, originally found by Terri Poindexter. USPP#18551: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
