Astilbe ‘New Wave’
Hybrid Astilbe |
USDA Zone: 3-9 |
Plant number: 1.086.800
Astilbe are a popular choice for shady gardens, where they perform well if given a rich, moist soil and regular watering. This selection is an upward grower with an open habit which is thought to ensure the foliage will remain healthy. It is considered an improved version of A. ‘Europa’ from which it originates. The plumes are deep and consistent pink on dark stems. This cultivar is more tolerant of drought and sun than some Astilbe. USPPP: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
