(Formerly Chrysanthemum maximum) Shasta Daisies enjoy universal appeal as a garden plant and cutflower. They are easy perennials that perform best in a sunny border. This midsized selection produces ruffled and layered white petals surrounding a yellow button eye, on stiff upright stems. Blooms continuously from early summer through first frost. Removing faded flowers will greatly increase the blooming time. Attractive to butterflies. Excellent in containers. Shasta Daisy is a well-behaved garden hybrid, and should not be confused with the weedy Ox-eye Daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare). A recent introduction from Terra Nova Nurseries of Oregon. USPP#21844: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
