Miscanthus sinensis ‘Gold Bar’

Dwarf Porcupine Grass

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 8.270.640

A terrific dwarf selection of Porcupine Grass, perfect for the smaller garden. This forms a graceful, upright clump of green leaves, each banded horizontally with bright golden yellow. Burgundy-red plumes appear in mid to late fall, held just above the foliage and remaining attractive for months. Trim to the ground in late winter or early spring. The golden banding develops once warm summer weather arrives. USPP#15193, CPBR#3114: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
