(='PPPHL0617’) This is a new hybrid, appearing much like the subulata or Moss Phlox type, that forms a low mound or cushion smothered with masses of flowers in late spring. The spreading foliage is dark green and the fragrant flowers are violet. Drought tolerant once established. Good choice for containers, edging and rock gardens. Long blooming and attractive to butterflies. Japanese-bred cross of P. subulata and P. divaricata. USPP#23733: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
