Helleborus × nigersmithii Ivory Prince

Lenten Rose

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.256.630

(='Walhelivor') An outstanding Hellebore selection bred by British plantsman David Tristram. This forms a sturdy mound of leathery evergreen leaves, veined in silver. It has a mid-spring display of reddish-pink buds that open into upfacing creamy-white flowers flushed with pink and green. Avoid pruning, other than to remove any dead or tattered leaves. All Hellebores resent being disturbed, so avoid moving or dividing mature plants if at all possible. This is a vegetative clone, increased commercially by tissue culture. USPP #16199: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten/Skin irritant.
