Helleborus × nigercors ‘Honeyhill Joy’

Christmas Rose

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.255.520

Hellebores are much-sought after and are enjoying great popularity coast to coast. This is an interesting hybrid variety of Hellebore from Honeyhill Farms. Plants forms a low evergreen clump of shiny blue-tinged leaves. In late winter and early spring, stems rise bearing masses of large out-facing, cream-centered, white blooms that have a green tinge as they age. Excellent mid-winter or early spring display. Prune off spent leaves in spring but other than that, leave alone. These require moisture during their flowering period but will tolerate moderate summer drought. A hybrid of H. niger and H. argutifolius. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten/Skin irritant.
