Heuchera ‘Rio’

Fancy-leaf Coral Bells

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.266.790

This hybrid Coral Bells is a terrific choice for adding a touch of colour towards the front of a border. The lobed leaves open peach-amber, change to amber, then to tan and finally to yellow amber. Sprays of white flowers on maroon spikes appear in late spring. Takes full sun in cool summer regions. The multicolour leaves can make for some very unusual garden pairings, particularly in mixed containers. Reported to handle full sun in cool summer regions, otherwise provide with afternoon shade to prevent scorching. Remove any winter-burned leaves in the spring, otherwise no pruning is required. A Terra Nova Nurseries introduction in the City™ Series. USPP#24273: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
