Auricula Primrose

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.446.870

(=‘Clone 2340’) This is a unique kind of Primrose, totally unlike more commonly grown forms. This selection, part of the Alpine class, features large clusters of fragrant, single, flowers consisting of a bright yellow centre surrounded by overlapping gold petals with a red to burgundy inner halo. Light-green leaves are thick and waxy, forming a low rosette. Blooms throughout the spring. Appreciates evenly moist soil but needs good drainage. Evergreen. Divide carefully after blooming if desired. BAVARIAN GAUDI™ series.
