(=‘Clone 2317’) This is a unique kind of Primrose, totally unlike more commonly grown forms. This selection, part of the Alpine class, features large clusters of fragrant, single, brilliant red flowers with a lemon-yellow eye appear throughout the spring. Light-green leaves are thick and waxy, forming a low rosette. Appreciates evenly moist soil but needs good drainage. Evergreen. Divide carefully after blooming if desired. BAVARIAN GAUDI™ series.
