Hosta ‘Autumn Frost’

Hosta

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 1.710.170

Hosta are among the most popular of perennials for shady areas, with hundreds of varieties now readily available. Plants form a sturdy mound of foliage, topped with lily-like blooms. This medium selection possesses the WOW factor. It features frost-blue leaves with wide, bright yellow margins that lighten to creamy-white as the season progresses. Light lavender flowers in mid to late summer. Excellent lineage as a sport of the 2010 Hosta of the Year H. First Frost which was a sport of the best of the blues, H. Halcyon. Hosta go completely dormant in the fall, and the dying foliage can be removed any time before mid spring. Easily divided in either spring or fall, but plants may be left alone for years. Part of the SHADOWLAND® Collection by Walters Gardens, Inc. USPP#23224: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
