Hosta ‘Woodland Elf’

Miniature Hosta

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 1.700.890

Hosta are among the most popular of perennials for shady areas, with hundreds of varieties now readily available. Plants form sturdy mounds of foliage, topped with lily-like blooms. This very cute miniature selection is considered one of the best minis ever introduced. It features wavy, cupped, green leaves with white margins. Soft lavender flowers appear in July. Good slug resistance. An outstanding Hosta for edging, troughs or the shady rock garden. Protect from hot afternoon sun. Clumps may be easily divided in the spring or fall. Hybrid of ‘Little Wonder’ × ‘Popo’ from Don Dean (2005 AHS registration). This strong grower belongs in every mini hosta collection.
