Viola ‘Velour Frosted Chocolate’

Perennial Pansy

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.545.970

The Velour series, developed in England, are hybrids between Pansies and Violas, with small-sized blooms on compact, bushy plants and distinctive colour combinations This selection has fragrant chocolate-brown winged petals flushed with grey and a bronze face with yellow whiskers. Extremely floriferous making them excellent for massing, edging, rock gardens, and in containers. Suitable for either fall or spring planting. Nice when combined with spring flowering bulbs. In warm regions, trim plants back by half in early June to rejuvenate the foliage and to promote rebloom. In mild regions these might continue flowering all winter long.
