This is an easy violet for growing in the woodland, or any moist, shady site. It forms a low mound of green heart-shaped leaves, bearing stems of white flowers during the spring season. Blossoms are highly fragrant. Nice for edging, or allow plants to self-seed and naturalize. Will grow in sun if the soil is moist. Excellent in spring containers.
