Creeping Speedwell

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.540.240

(='Blauspiegel') A nice compact type of Speedwell, well suited to the rock garden or for edging a pathway or sunny border. This German selection makes an early summer display of clear blue flowers, held on short spikes above a low carpet of grey-green foliage. This combines especially well with silvery foliaged companions, or with yellow to gold flowered neighbours such as Helianthemum. Clip plants back to 3 inches after blooming to keep them low and compact for the rest of the season. Drought tolerant once established. Clumps may be easily divided in spring or early autumn.
