Verbascum ‘Buttercup’

Hybrid Mullein

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.537.070

Cousins to the common roadside mullein, the Hybrid Mulleins are unusual and showy plants for the well-drained sunny border. Triangular crispy-green leaves form a flat rosette, bearing tall upright spikes with delicate blooms of soft lemon-yellow edged in ivory. Plants flower over a long period, and the spikes are excellent for cutting. Remove faded blooms to encourage more buds. USPP#14793: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
