Thymus Highland Cream

Creeping Thyme

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.515.300

(aka ‘Hartington Silver') This is a wonderful selection of Creeping Thyme from England. It forms a fragrant ground-hugging carpet of tiny green leaves, brightly splashed with creamy white. Clusters of soft lavender-pink flowers appear in early summer. Excellent in the rock garden or as a drought-tolerant lawn substitute. Can be used in between flagstones and will tolerate moderate foot traffic. Easily divided in spring or early fall, and even small pieces will take root and grow. Evergreen.
