Salvia nemorosa ‘Sensation Sky Blue’

Perennial Sage

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.468.540

The Perennial Sages are invaluable for their rich display of spiky flowers in the early summer border. This German selection is compact, with chubby spikes of clear sky blue. Remove faded blooms to encourage repeat flowering. Excellent for cutting. Drought tolerant once established. Can be clipped back hard after blooming, to rejuvenate the foliage. Attractive to both butterflies and hummingbirds. Ideal for the border edge or in containers. Bred and introduced by Christof Kleinhanns of Germany. USPPP: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
