Primula ‘Wanda Dark Pink’

English Primrose

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 1.445.840

Primrose flowers are a true sign of spring. The ‘Wanda’ types of English Primrose are extremely popular and are vigorous, easy plants. This selection produces fragrant flower clusters of deep magenta-pink over a rosette of bright green leaves. Combine beautifully with spring-blooming bulbs. These perform best with a rich, moist soil. Will tolerate full sun in cool summer regions. Excellent in containers, window boxes, for edging, shady borders, rock gardens and woodland gardens. Don't allow soil to dry out. Divide plants every 2 to 3 years in early fall, to maintain their vigor. Keep an eye out for slug damage.
