Phlox divaricata ‘May Breeze’

Woodland Phlox

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.410.500

Woodland Phlox is perfect for a moist, shady border, putting on a showy mid-spring display. This selection has fragrant starry flowers of very pale blue over a mound of green foliage, the blooms seeming white from a distance. Excellent vigour and disease resistance and a good choice for regions with hot and humid summer. Spreads to form a small patch, and divisions can easily taken in early fall. Will usually tolerate full sun conditions in cool summer regions. Terrific when combined with spring blooming bulbs, especially narcissus. A native North American wildflower. Selected in the Netherlands by Piet Oudolf,
