Paeonia tenuifolia ‘Rosea’

Fernleaf Peony

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 1.407.040

Peonies are old-fashioned favorites for late spring display, prized for their large, colourful and fragrant blooms. This Fernleaf selection produces a low mound of very finely-cut leaves, bearing single rose-pink flowers with a yellow centre, the flowers appearing to rest just on top of the leaves. Beautiful and unique. Peonies last in the garden for decades, seldom needing to be divided. Division should be done only in the fall, making sure to replant the roots at the same depth they were growing at. Remove stems to the ground in late fall, to control any potential diseases.
