Hosta

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.276.220

Hosta are among the most popular of perennials for shady areas, with hundreds of varieties now readily available. Plants form sturdy mounds of foliage, topped with lily-like blooms. This selection is a sport of H. ‘Striptease’ and features chartreuse to ivory centres with rich blue-green margins. Lavender, funnel shaped flowers appear in mid summer. Vigorous grower. Good slug resistance. Prefers light shade so protect from hot afternoon sun. Clumps may be easily divided in the spring or fall. While deer enjoy eating Hosta, this variety may be slightly less palatable to deer than others.
