Helleborus ballardiae ‘HGC Pink Frost’

Gold Collection Hellebore

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.256.930

This Gold Collection Hellebore is an absolutely wonderful introduction bred by Josef Heuger in Germany, this sturdy hybrid is gorgeous both in leaf and in flower. It forms a low mound of leathery evergreen silvery-green leaves with red stems. Large outfacing single soft-pink flowers appear in early spring, gradually ageing burgundy-red. Avoid doing any pruning other than to remove dead leaves or stems down near the base of the plant. Quite possibly hardy to Zone 4. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten/Skin irritant. USPPP: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
