Geum ‘Mai Tai’

Geum

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.235.280

Also known as Avens, this offers a soft romantic look to the early summer border. Plants form a low clump of coarse green leaves, with branching stems held above bearing medium-sized rounded flowers. This selection has ruffled, semi-double to single, apricot flowers blushed with rose that lighten to peach as they mature. Remove faded flowers regularly to encourage more buds. Plants may be pruned back hard after blooming, to rejuvenate the foliage. Clumps should be divided every 3 to 4 years in spring or fall. Semi-evergreen. Part of the Cocktails™ series. Bred by Brent Horvath of Intrinsic Perennial Gardens. USPP#22433: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
