Geranium pratense Summer Skies

Meadow Cranesbill

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.230.940

(='Gernic') This selection of Meadow Cranesbill is valuable for early summer colour in the border or woodland. Makes a good show of double blooms in a beautiful soft violet-blue shade, over a bushy mound of deeply-cut green leaves. Cut back hard after flowering to rejuvenate the foliage. Excellent in a woodland garden. Appreciates a moist site. Any seedlings that appear around the plant should be removed: they are not likely to have the desirable double flowers. From Blooms of Bressingham®. USPP#10695: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
