Gentiana scabra ‘Zuki-rindo’

Autumn Gentian

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.225.640

Autumn Gentian are a very special group of plants, highly treasured for their rich display of flowers in late summer and fall. Plants are low-growing, with fresh green foliage forming a creeping mound, bearing large upfacing trumpet flowers for many weeks. This unusual selection features magenta buds that open to bright purple-pink blooms. Gentians grow best in rich, acidic soils, preferring climates with cool summers. Excellent edging plants for the border, in the rock garden or alpine trough. Good orange fall foliage colour.
