Astilbe chinensis ‘Little Vision in Purple’

Chinese Astilbe

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.087.660

Astilbe chinensis are a popular choice for shady gardens, where they perform well if given a rich, moist soil and regular watering. This recent dwarf form of A. ‘Visions’ features showy, raspberry-purple plumes, over a compact mound of elegant, lacy bronze-green leaves. A robust floriferous variety that tolerates sun and heat better than others. Will rebloom if plants are cut back. Excellent in containers and as a cut flower. Seed heads may be removed, or left on the plant for winter interest. USPP#21855: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
