| Moor Grass is a useful medium-sized grass for the waterside or perennial border. This selection forms a low clump of green and creamy-white or yellow striped leaves, bearing taller arching stems of airy yellow flowers in late summer, lasting into the autumn. Attractive golden-yellow fall colour. Clumps have a distinctive fountain-like effect. Trim back in late winter. Clumps may be easily divided in early spring. Appreciates a moist site. A Heritage Perennials® Top 10 Perennial for 2006.

What others say about this plant...

Leaves dramatically striped light yellow to cream-white. In regions where flowering is heavy, the bright yellow stalks of the inflorescences are attractive, but this plant is worth growing just for the foliage.; Rick Darke, The Color Encyclopedia of Ornamental Grasses |
