| This is a terrific selection of a North American native wildflower, and a wonderful addition to the sunny border. Flowers are a little like a huge, double Shasta Daisy in effect, but light blue deepening to deep violet purple. Plants form a low mound of leathery green leaves, remaining evergreen in mild winter areas. Tolerant of hot, humid summer regions. Great for cutting, and also attractive to butterflies. A good candidate for mixed containers. Remove faded flowers to encourage more buds. USPP#10660: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
