 | |
| Threadleaf Coreopsis forms a spreading clump of very delicate, ferny foliage. This free-flowering selection bears loads of starry golden-yellow daisies, from early summer into the fall. Clipping off faded flowers will encourage buds to form all season. Tolerant of hot, dry sites, once established. Excellent for cutting. Great for growing in the sunny border, or planting in mixed containers. The species is native to the Eastern USA. Tolerates heat and humidity. Easily divided in early spring. Selected by Blooms nursery, in England.

What others say about this plant...
Coreopsis flower abundantly all summer if you deadhead them regularly. Rather than pinch out the faded flowers one by one, I run a string trimmer or hedge trimmer over the top of my plants and lop all the flowers off at once. You'll lose a few fresh blooms but the plants will return to full bloom in only two weeks.; Larry Hodgson, Perennials for Every Purpose |
