                                | Alpine Lady’s Mantle | USDA Zone: 2-9 | Plant number: 1.031.400
More compact and finely textured than Common Lady’s Mantle (Alchemilla mollis), and better suited to the rock garden or for edging. It forms a low mound or tuft with small dark-green leaves that are deeply cleft, each radiating finger finely edged in silvery white. Short sprays of yellow-green flowers appear in early summer. Trimming off the faded flower spikes will keep plants looking attractive all season long. Clumps are easily divided in spring or early fall. Plants make an attractive addition to the rock garden or containers and are ideal for edging along pathways in the border or woodland.
