Origanum ‘Amethyst Falls’

Ornamental Oregano

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.401.000

One of several ornamental Oregano now becoming available in North America. This spectacular selection features masses of cascading, hop-like, amethyst blooms with chartreuse flower bracts summer through fall, over a low mound of scented gray-green foliage. Very showy. Plants are great for edging, and leaves can be used as a culinary herb. Clip back hard in June to keep low.
