Perovskia atriplicifolia PEEK-A-BLUE®

Russian Sage

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.406.040

(=‘WALPPB’) Russian Sage is a perennial with an exceptionally long season of interest. This compact selection forms a bushy mound of fragrant, heavily-dissected, silver-green leaves on silver stems, bearing copious spikes of lavender-blue flowers from mid-summer to early fall. Great for smaller gardens and terrific in mixed containers. Prune back to 6 inches in the spring, never in the fall. Exceptionally drought tolerant. Bred by Kevin Walters and introduced to the market in 2012 by Walters Gardens, Inc. of Michigan.
