Polemonium caeruleum Brise d’Anjou™

Variegated Jacob’s Ladder

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.427.060

(='Blanjou') This was a chance discovery at a nursery in France. A first-class foliage plant for using towards the front of the border, where its variegated green and creamy-white leaves look for all the world like some exotic fern. Heads of violet-blue flowers rise above on short stems in early summer. This seems to prefer a partly shaded situation with protection from hot afternoon sun, particularly where summers are warm and humid. Also excellent in mixed containers. From Blooms of Bressingham®.
