Astilbe chinensis ‘Lovely Day’

Chinese Astilbe

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.089.060

Astilbes are a popular choice for shady gardens, where they perform well if given rich, moist soil and regular watering. This selection, part of the Day series, features fluffed panicles of light pink flowers over boldly divided dark green leaves, often tinged with bronze edging. This tough variety is more sun and drought-tolerant than other Astilbes. May rebloom if plants are cut back. Excellent in containers, as a cut flower and for the border. Seed heads may be removed, or left on the plant for winter interest. USPPP: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
