This selected form of Japanese Painted Fern has arching triangular leaves of metallic pewter-grey, flushed all over with rich wine burgundy as they emerge. It forms a small lacy mound that looks particularly good edging a woodland walkway, in shady borders or even in containers. Deciduous. Leaves may be trimmed to the ground in late fall or early spring. Well-behaved, non-spreading habit. USPP#15072: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
